| You should pick up the pace then... That means stop reading in class (I know it's hard for you to do!) and focus on your teacher's babbling... Mind you, I can't talk. I have half a year worth of work to do in a matter of 2 weeks... Definite (F)ail... _________________ You only answer deep within your own mind, consciously, you've forgotten it. | wow. though i'm not one to talk about reading in class. i do it all the time too. i just have a natural ability to get teachers (even the creepy ones) to like me, which helps SO much! _________________ Personally, I think having math first thing in the morning should be declared unconstitutional – isn’t there something in the Bill of Rights outlawing cruel and unusual punishment? – but I wasn’t consulted about this.

| I don't want to sound like a parental-unit or anything, but you girls really should focus on your studies instead of outside stuff while you're in school. You don't want to screw anything up and get too far behind, or fail. Trust me I should know. I actually failed a class my Junior year because I did the stuff that you're doing and I had to take it again my Senior year. Which really sucked because I could have done anything I wanted to if I didn't have to take it again. I know it's hard, but just go ahead and do the work without distractions and get it out of the way. Then you'd have all the time in the world to do whatever you wanted to, you know? I just felt like I needed to say that. _________________ Jasper Hale Stole My Heart♥ |

| yeah, i know. and i do pay attention and get my work done. threats of dire consequences like summer school and generally being grounded from writing and the internet do their bit, and general snobbishness on my part does a bit more. not that i LIKE it, but i have to. *muttermutter* i'm satisfied with B's... unless they're .02 points away from being A's, but that's another story. i just don't feel the need to become obsessed with my studies. though you and john seem to have died in junior year (you are a junior, right john? if not, then i'm sorry.) so i'll have to watch out. my cousin died too (he has to take summer school to get credits to graduate...). maybe IB stimulation will help. or maybe not... _________________ Personally, I think having math first thing in the morning should be declared unconstitutional – isn’t there something in the Bill of Rights outlawing cruel and unusual punishment? – but I wasn’t consulted about this.

| Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with Kiss of Crimson. Just do the work and get it over with. Belive me, by the time your hit you senior year of high school you really won't want to do anything (mostly homework and school in general) but it's better in the long run. I know this from a painful personal view. And I bet ya'lls bottom dollar your going to have that one d!*k of a teacher who will base 90% of your grade on homework and does NOT take late work. THIS I know really well and will forever loath that teacher and hope that one day she may burst into flames. Remember kids... D=Diploma (my chem. teacher told me that. p.s. the Klep. RULES!!!!) I don't mean 'kids' in a condescending way, but I still think it's funny...he he he _________________ Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker? ~Sabriel by Garth Nix

| meh, not even thinking about senior year yet. sorry. gotta get through junior year first. and yeah, i know i will have evil teachers. i just hope i can use my magical ability to get them to like me to my advantage. or, i'll just have to close my eyes, do the work, and deal. *shrug* d might equal diploma, but it also equals disaster, especially where my parents are concerned. _________________ Personally, I think having math first thing in the morning should be declared unconstitutional – isn’t there something in the Bill of Rights outlawing cruel and unusual punishment? – but I wasn’t consulted about this.

| T's??? What's that, like a failing grade? I feel for ya anne, Queen of Angst. I know how parents can be when it comes to grades. Although my parents gave up and told me to tell them if they need to go to graduation. But my friend Emma; her hands start shaking everytime her Dad calls her. Yeah, he is that bad about it. So give yourself a hug for me, I deff. understand. _________________ Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker? ~Sabriel by Garth Nix
